Breakfast habits

Text 11 — Breakfast Habits

Level: A2

Breakfast is an important meal in my family, but everyone eats something different. My father likes eggs and toast because he says they give him energy for the whole morning. My mother usually has yogurt, fruit, and tea because she prefers a light breakfast. I often eat cereal with milk, but on cold days I make porridge. My younger sister doesn't like eating early, so she usually has only a banana before school. Then she takes a sandwich with her and eats it during the first break. At the weekend, breakfast is slower and more relaxed. We sometimes make pancakes or fresh orange juice, and we sit together in the kitchen for a long time. For me, breakfast is not only about food.
